The De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde's (DLS-CSB) Office for Deaf Esteem and Formation (O-DEAF) of the School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (SDEAS) is looking for interested and qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator for the Deaf Life Skills Development Program (DLSDP Coordinator).
The DLSDP Coordinator takes charge of a team that creates opportunities for students' intrapersonal and interpersonal development through involvement in various activities inside and outside of the College (i.e., seminars, workshops, group discussions)and by creating similar opportunities specifically for the Deaf population. The Coordinator is also expected to conduct consultation sessions with students as an aid in their personal growth and development and coordinate with the academic program to ensure that intrapersonal and interpersonal formation of students is included in the curriculum. Mentoring of the DLSDP Formators and providing programs for the families of the Deaf students of the College is also expected.
The ability to communicate in sign language is required.
