Unit Asia takes cool center stage at the Music Museum

The Japan Foundation paved the way for a new direction in Asian Jazz as it brought to Manila a musical collective of notable jazz artists from Japan, Malaysia and Thailand. The group, known as Unit Asia, performed at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan last October 28 with guest performer Sitti, the sensational Filipina bossa nova artist.

Their cool jazz rendition is really superb. It's electrifying! They mesmerized the audience with their performance energy and mastery of their respective instruments: the electric guitar, bass guitar, saxophone, drums, and the piano. Altogether, they created a musical masterpiece that is truly Asian.
